Welcome to the 2025 Senior Mens League.
First, I would like to extend my thanks to Dave Pearson for his leadership in organizing such a successful season of Senior golf in 2024. Rod and I are looking forward to building on this to create another great year. See you at our season opener which will be a 9am shotgun start on April 28!

HOW TO JOIN THE SENIOR MENS LEAGUE
If you are 55 years old and a Member/Corporate Member you can join Senior Mens by following the link in the invitation email that will be sent out at the beginning of April, or by clicking on the link above. The registration cost is again $15 which will be charged to your member account. When you register, you will be asked to let us know your Golf Canada member number, whether you walk or ride, and whether you wish to be included in the optional $5 deuce pot.
SIGNING UP TO PLAY IN THE WEEKLY GAME
We play most Mondays starting at 8:00 AM on the Quail and 8:03 AM on the Bear. The last week of each month will again be a shotgun start. Senior Members will receive an email on Tuesdays to sign up for the game on the following Monday. Golf Genius (our software) makes up the weekly foursomes to balance handicaps and let you play with different members each week. We play from the Black/Silver Combo tees and you will be notified of your pairing and start time on the Saturday before the game. The weekly cost is $10 and covers weekly winnings which are credited to your account.
Optional Deuce Pot
If you signed up for the optional deuce pot with your registration, an additional $5 will be charged to your account each week. Deuce players will be split into a low and high flight and share winnings within their flight.
Almost everything to do with our Senior Men’s Club is on this Portal which is a good resource.

SIGN UP & INFO
SIGN UP EARLY TO PLAY IN INTERCLUB MATCHES. THE FIRST MATCH IS MAY 5TH AGAINST SUNSET RANCH.
As a member of the Senior Men’s Club, you may sign up to play in Interclub matches against eight different clubs in our area. Two two-person teams (4 players) play each match in a “high/low” format. The same teams each play one home game and one away game. Please be available for both matches in a session. The cost is approximately 2/3’s of the regular green fee at the away club and it is expected that the host team will treat the guests to lunch. If you are interested, please contact Rod Albers at rod.albers19@gmail.com with the courses you would like to play in your priority order. Please include your phone number. One significant change adopted this year is to permit play from silver tees or equivalent at the various courses. Handicaps will be adjusted accordingly even though your opponent may be playing at a different tee. This rule change is intended to encourage participation.
